San Antonio’s annual Asian Festival was held Saturday, February 5, at the Institute of Texas Cultures in HemisFair Park. The fun festival celebrated the Year of the Rabbit with music, dance, food, cooking demonstrations, lion dance parade, henna tattoos and martial arts. The family-oriented festival included children’s activities and a miniature train ride. Crafts and Asian decorations were sold by numerous organizations and businesses. Musicians and dancers performed outdoors under tents and inside the Institute.
