The Welcome Party was held in the ballrooms at the new  JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.  I was excited to look around the resort.  It reminded me of a cruise ship (in a good way – I love cruise ships) with a library, numerous lounges, water park, spa, game room, restaurants, etc.  The resort felt very secluded and would make for a nice escape without having to drive too far.  I am not a golf fan but the golf course is a very pretty green backdrop for the resort.
